Its Game Day!!!

This is Abram at his First football game. It was Tift County High School vs Roswell High School.
The Southerners vs The Yankees. The Southerners WON! ( Roswell is from Atlanta)

It's Saturday morning, first day of college football. His team "The Georgia Bulldogs" are ranked number one in the country. What could be better? Georgia Bulldogs are playing Georgia Southern today. He was just asked who he thought was going to win. That's why he is smiling, cause he knows his Dawgs are going to kill those Eagles!!

Grandaddy gets his Grandson

Well, Grandaddy and Nanna finally got to see Abrams smile up front. I guess you can say that it brought out the kid in them.

Abram enjoying his time with his Grandfather.

Goo Goo Ga Ga....its a language that can only be done with funny, loving faces.

Whiskers and Grandaddy keeping a close eye on the little one. Whiskers is remembering when he was the only one that got bounced and played with on the belly.

Hanging with the Grandparents...(Whiskers is starting to wonder when he can get back in His Daddys lap).

Finally Caught on Camera!

Well after many attempts to capture the elusive smile. We have finally caught it on video. Isn't he just the cutest!!

Abrams Olympic Experience

Grampa came to visit him during the Olympics. He wanted to teach him how to play basketball, but Abram wanted to be a sprinter.

Here is Abram traveling to China. Its a long flight so he needed to take a good stretch in his car seat.

Abram is running his first marathon. His coach Grampa said that he did not get his speed from the Mason family. So look at those Miller genes go!! (sorry about the angle everytime i stood up to get a better shot little abe quit running and started watching me...so i didn't want to mess up his first olympic chance for gold)

He is awaiting his times to see if he qualified for the FINALS!!!

HE qualified...Look at him go...he is coming around the home stretch...he is tiring...can he make it...?

Well no Gold Medal this year. But Abrams smart, he has another long plane ride home and its a little cold up in that high altitude, so he bundled up and is watching his aquarium television that his Grandma gave him. He is thinking about going to the special olympics this year...he said he has a better chance for Gold there!

Back at home. He has awhile before his coach has him on the b-ball court so he decided to review the tapes of his 200m sprint. Leupold the trusty sidekick has decided that he just can't take it anymore and has passed out at his feet.

(Watch out Usain Bolt, Abrams coming for you next time)

THE RED BUTTON

Here is the Red button that plays "Brahms Lullaby". They made me sanitize my hands before i touched the button...they didn't care that touched my son with my hands but I HAD to have clean hands before I hit the button. But that is Abram on the scale and it reads 7 Lbs 15.4 Ounces. Normally you would go give your son his first bath after he is weighed but I declined that due to a cold that I got a day before he was born. I was reluctant to hold him very long becasue I was coughing and sneezing alot.

Welcome To the World Abram

Here I am after he was born. The picture on the left is me taking him out of the room to get weighed and measured. It was neat to walk down the halls and kind of have some alone time with my son. The picture on the right is me leaving the nursery after he was weighed. In the nursery there is a button that only new Daddy's get to press that let me play "Brahms Lullaby" over the intercom to announce that arrival of my sons birth. So that's why I have the cheesy grin. But I loved every minute of it!!!

This is Abrams going home outfit which was purchased by Sherry...Thanks again...this outfit has a hat and blanket with it, but the hat was a little to big for him. Also you can see his full head of hair. He is only a little over 24 hours old in this picture. His hair will actually go about halfway down his ears.

Abrams first check up performed by Dr. Remington and Dr. Leupold. They performed a visual check up of Abram this morning and noted that all ten fingers and toes functioned properly and that his lungs were clear. As soon and Abram makes a noise Remmy is up to check on him. Here was not one time last night that when we woke up with Abram, Remmy did not get up with us. She sat at our feet the entire time we were up with Abram. She only slept when he slept. We can tell that she is going to be VERY attached to him. We were unsure about the reaction that we would get from the dogs when we brought him home, but there has not been one sign of jealousy or dislike from either of them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABRAM!!!!!

LOOKS LIKE A FUTURE BULLDAWG TO ME...
Uncle Chris stopped by for a moment...he disappeared when the nurse said it was time to breast feed...
Here is Teddie right after birth holding our son. And here he is...Abram Benjamin Miller. Born July 9, 2008 at 11:01 am weighing in at 7 pounds and 15.4 ounces. He is our little bundle of Love.
July 9, 2008- Tift County Hospital. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Abram Benjamin Miller......He is overdue!!!!
Well lets see Teddies water broke around 1:50 am on July 9, 2008. We got to the hospital at about 3:00 am that morning. My poor Dad went to bed at 1:00 am thinking he had the next day off, only to get a call at 2:00 am informing him that we were going into labor. So on one hour of sleep he drove an hour and a half down to see his first Grandchild. So we let him have a little nap.
